- 11:45 p.m. – Load the bus
- 12:00 p.m. – Leave for Wienk Charolais Ranch, Lake Preston, SD
- 12:45 p.m. – Wienk Charolais Ranch, Lake Preston, SD – lunch, talk, tour
- 2:15 p.m. – Load the bus
- 2:30 p.m. – Leave for Schadé Winery
- 3:00 p.m. - Schadé Winery, Volga, SD – Wine tasting, appetizers, tour
- 4:30 p.m. – Load the bus
- 4:45 p.m. – Leave for Brookings
- 5:00 p.m. – Arrive at University Comfort Suites Brookings

Wienk Charolais: Founded in 1958 by Arnold & Carol Wienk, the operation is an internationally recognized herd of purebred Charolais cattle located on the rolling plains of eastern South Dakota. The operation consists of roughly 450 registered Charolais cows and is owned and operated by three generations of the Eschenbaum family. Celebrating 60 years in the Charolais business. Wienk Charolais is a proven leader in the cattle industry because of their relentless commitment to the genetic improvement of the Charolais breed and industry leading customer service.
Schadé Winery: Founded 1999. Schadé Vineyard & Winery is the third bonded farm winery in South Dakota.
Owned and operated by Jim & Nancy Schadé in Volga, SD. Their goal is to produce a wine that is made from SD grown products. We believe in Good Wines and Good Times.
