There Will Be a Quiz
Abstract:
Over the course of the 2009 Beef Improvement Federation Annual Meeting and Research Symposium there will be multiple sessions on the latest technologies available to beef producers, including molecular information. In this session we will try to identify how much information you retained from these sessions; clarify anything that is still confusing; and get an indication of which of these practices you plan to implement in your operation in the future.
To reach these objectives we will be using hand help electronic response devices (aka “clickers”). We will present a PowerPoint presentation with embedded questions; when a question is asked you will be able to answer using your device, which is similar to a TV remote control. We will then be able to immediately share the results of the answers to the question and discuss these results.
We plan for this to be a light, fast-paced session that will hopefully better prepare you to go home and implement worthwhile practices and give us a better indication of where we need to focus future educational programming.
